WellBe can be set up either by you or remotely by a loved one. Follow the instructions included with the device or download a copy here.

Talk to WellBe like you would a person. Start each question by saying “Ok WellBe”, then ask your question. WellBe responds with helpful answers and feels like talking to a friend.

Download the WellBe Virtual Assistant App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once downloaded create an account and fill in your health information. Use the videos above for a helpful way to navigate the app.

Identify specific contacts as “emergency contacts” with the WellBe Virtual Assistant app. (see the above tutorial for help) These will be the people who receive notifications automatically in the case of a missed medication or appointment, abnormal blood pressure or glucose reading.

Currently WellBe has access to most major medical Insurance carriers, although we do not have access to all plans, we are adding more every day. This means that there might be a waiting period until your specific carrier is added to our database.

All you have to do is ask. Just say “Ok WellBe, play me the news.” Or “Ok WellBe what is the weather?” WellBe will take care of the rest.

You can listen to radio stations through I Heart Radio with WellBe with no additional setup. To access music through Spotify you have to link your account. This can be done through the WellBe Virtual Assistant app (see the above tutorial). Spofity premium is a separate subscription through Spotify.

To access audiobooks you will have to link or create an audiobook store.com account. This can be done through the WellBe Virtual Assistant app (see the above tutorial). audiobookstore.com may have additional charges for audiobooks.

Say “Ok WellBe, stop.” WellBe will stop responding until prompted again.

No, there is not a limit for users under one household.

You can add a user by going to the WellBe Virtual Assistant App, going to “Settings” and then “Households”. Next click the specific household that you would like to add a new user into and at the bottom of the screen click “Add User”. Once this is clicked, determine the role of the user, give them specific permissions and then click “Add User”. You will now input specific information about this new user and then click “Invite”. This new user will get an email with a six-letter invitation code to set up their own account.

Yes, you may have multiple devices under one household.

Yes, you can call emergency services through WellBe.

Yes you can call others through WellBe but they must be in your contacts on the WellBe Virtual Assistant App.

During the setup process, you will have to go through voice training. This will only take a few moments but will allow WellBe to learn your voice for future use.

When the WIFI goes out, WellBe will still answer to the wake word but may not be able to present you with information.

WellBe can be moved to another house but the WIFI will have to be reconnected which can be done in the WellBe Virtual Assistant App. Fortunately, WellBe will remember all other information.

  • Orange and white consecutively – The device is turning off
  • Orange – the device is muted. Press the mute button on the top to mute or unmute
  • White – The device is turning on
  • Green – device setup is complete

If your light is going off, simply say “Ok WellBe, why is my light on?”

WellBe goes by voice recognition which means that when someone asks WellBe about your specific information, she will ask for your four-digit PIN. This person should not know your PIN and will not be given the information.

Yes. If you go to the WellBe Virtual Assistant App, “My profile” and then “History”. This page will show all of your responses to the device, at the specific time and date they were recorded.

Your appointments and reminders can be put in manually into the WellBe Virtual Assistant App.

All of your upcoming appointments and reminders will show on the home screen of your WellBe Virtual Assistant App. For appointments, the app will not only show the time your appointment will occur but also what time you should leave for your appointment. This takes in consideration the time it will take for you to travel to the provider and for you to arrive 30 minutes before the appointment.

This depends on the person and their access to specific personal information such as their insurance, medication, pharmacy and provider. If these are easily at hand, then the process should not take more than 20 minutes.

Voice training is a very easy process and will only take a few minutes to complete. You will be asked by WellBe to recite a few different phases and then you are done!

A user’s username and password can be changed in the WellBe Virtual Assistant App. This can be found under “My Profile”, then “Account Info”.

The device can run off of battery for a few hours, but we recommend that you have the device plugged in at all times.

Currently, WellBe can only recognize English.

Currently, the name and voice of WellBe cannot be changed.

Any update will be pushed through the system so the device will be updated automatically without any inconvenience to the user. Most of these updates will be done during the night while the user is asleep. The WellBe Virtual Assistant App will have to be updated through the app store every once in a while.
